ISIS Releases Video Showing Militants Attacking US Troops, Threatening White House
WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has released a video showing militants attacking American forces and threatening the White House.
The 52-second video was released by the al-Hayat Media Center, which is the terror group’s English-language propaganda base, according to The Guardian.
The video, entitled “Flames of War,” shows ISIS militants using shoulder missile launchers blowing up American tanks, with U.S. troops evacuating the injured.
It then shows clips of former President George Bush’s “Mission Accomplished” banner and President Barack Obama saying “American troops will not be returning to fight in Iraq.” Following Obama’s quote, it transitions to slow-motion footage of someone filming the White House while driving.
The end of the video shows the terrorists about to execute several men who are forced to their knees, fading to black with the words “Fighting Has Just Begun” and “Coming Soon.”
