Rose Lynch Political Prisoner
Rose Lynch from Limerick city is currently the only female Republican Political prisoner held by the 26 county Free State. Rose is being held on remand in the Dóchas Centre women’s prison in Mountjoy Jail in Dublin. Rose is a committed Irish Republican, who has worked hard and will continue to do so for the Freedom of her country as a member of Republican Sinn Fèin. Republican Sinn Fèin sends greetings to Rose Lynch and all other Irish Republican Prisoners who are incarcerated in British, Free State and foreign jails. Rose Lynch has been charged with possession of firearms, ammunition and membership of the Irish Republican Army. Rose will now face the Free State non-jury special criminal court. For the benefit of anyone reading this website from abroad, who may not be familiar with the Free State special criminal court, this is a kangaroo court, set up by the Free State regime in which the opinion of a Free State Garda chief-superintendent is considered evidence that a person is a member of the Irish Republican Army. The Free State Garda chief-superintendent does not have to state why or how he has formed his opinion and therefore can blatantly lie, to please his Free State masters and try to have yet another true Irish Republican incarcerated. Over the years many, many unfortunate Irish Republicans have been brought before this kangaroo court and, sadly until the British imperialist occupier leaves our shores forever and takes their Free State puppet government in the 26 counties with them, we will see many more brave Irish Republicans face this tool of Free State oppression.
