PIPS, H.E.L.P. Who Cares, We Care, Out Reach Kids, Kick Start Your Heart and Positive Steps are organising a rally ‘ACTION 4 CHANGE’ Monday 13th June 2011 at 7pm.The location is Laurel Glen, 208 Stewartstown Road, BT17 OLE, West Belfast, beside Dairy Farm. The issue of mental health and suicide is everyone’s responsibility. We believe the time for action is now! Too many people are dying by suicide. The effect is devastating to family members and the community as a whole whereby everybody feels the pain. A response action plan needs to be put in place now. There needs to be a cross-departmental government approach to suicide prevention which needs to be treated with the utmost urgency. We all know someone who has been affected by this devasting issue.
The groups above are calling on the whole community to show your support for CHANGE. By attending we are sending a strong message that enough is enough. Please invite all your friends. Thank you |
