I would like to take this opportunity to let people know that the Roddy Mc Corley’s Club on the Glen Road West Belfast, just up the street from where the Black Family grew up have rejected a friend request set up by my family to keep our sister’s memory alive, Óglach Patricia Black. They have a check to call themselves a Republican Club, and believe me when I say this, there’s not that many on the…ir comity who can call themselves Republican’s. Óglach Patricia Black was the last female Volunteer to give her young life for the freedom of her Country & her local community. Why did these so called Republican’s reject Patricia’s friend request ? Because there is a Memorial Flute Band in Glasgow called the Black/Ryan M.F.B named in Patricia & Frankie Ryan’s honor, no one else on the island of Ireland thought of the idea, but the good people of Glasgow did & they are aliened with Éirígí and both our family’s our proud of this young M.F.B and we also support Éirígí, that is way. Here is what the Roddy’s proclaim on their Facebook page…..The Roddy Mc Corley Society was formed on 10th June 1972 in Belfast. The core ethos embraced by the founder members of the society in 1972 was the propagation of Republican ideals and recognition and support for Republicans who have participated in the struggle for Irish freedom. Theser core principles remain with us to this day…… If what they say is true, then why do they not support today’s P.O.W’S and why did they not honor Óglach Patricia Black ???????
